For the Fourth Year, Future Successors will partner with Run With E to bring Augusta's Youth a one of a kind experience. Set to take place during Black History Month, the Dash N' Learn event will help youth exercise their mind, body and soul. Participants will have the chance to discover facts about Augusta's historical African Americans and Landmarks.
The past youth expos have exposed over 500 senior class students of Atlanta Public Schools System to professions and/or businesses that are located less than 5 miles from their residences in Atlanta, GA. This wonderful experience is designed to expose low performance schools to local professional business leaders to inspire the students to be open minded about what will come next in their life after graduation.
Come sip wine with us to support our summer college tours of Duke University, North Carolina Central University, Florida State University, and Florida A&M University.
Oh what fun it was to take a group of adolescents to Georgetown University and Howard University for a college tour. From science experiments to inspirational speakers, our kids had a blast. One of the main things we stress with our kids is education. We present the possibilities and hope that shoot for the stars.
Mentor Reggie Williams, teaches students like Carlos tools for career success. Tying a tie is one of the many things our students learn with our programs. We're always in need of mentors and local businesses to partner with us on our programs and events.
We always end our year off with a bang! We were able to take some of our youth down to the Golden Harvest Food Bank and treat the less fortunate with delicious BBQ wings from Buffalo Wild Wings. We also provided warm coats for the winter season, that we collected from a clothing drive at our Bowl for the Stars event.
Thanks to everyone that made our Bowl for the Stars event a success. Proceeds from the annual event, helps us fund the programs that make a difference in the lives of today's youth.
We took our annual co-ed kickball fundraiser on the road and ended up in New York at Central Park. Not only was it a great turn out, it also brought a community together to raise funds for local youth. We can't wait for you to see what we have in store for our next event.
